Testimonials

Plant medicine opens profound doors. What happens before and after determines how much of that actually changes your life.

A Clear Path Through Every Phase

Preparation and integration are the phases of plant medicine work where most people receive the least support. Without a clear, structured path, navigating what comes before and after ceremony can feel uncertain and overwhelming. Having a resource to guide you through each phase gives your body and nervous system a sense of safety and ground to return to.

Working With the Body, Not Just the Mind

Most integration approaches work primarily with the mind through journaling, meditation, and talk therapy. These are valuable, but real transformation requires working directly with the body where patterns and energies are actually stored. Root and Return gives you somatic practices that bring conscious awareness into the body, accessing the subconscious level where lasting change actually happens.

Support That Meets You Where You Are

Working with a 1:1 coach or integration specialist can be incredibly valuable, but ongoing support at that level is sometimes financially out of reach. Root and Return gives you experienced, body-centered guidance through every phase of your journey at an accessible price point, so that quality preparation and integration support is available to anyone who is called to this work.

Meet Your Guide

My path to creating Root and Return came through necessity. Unprocessed childhood trauma had manifested as severe anxiety, depression, and a profound disconnection from myself that conventional medicine couldn't resolve. My life began to shift dramatically when I finally turned to plant medicines and somatic embodiment work, and the synergy between the two became the foundation of everything I now teach.

What I discovered through my own journey, and through holding ceremony for others, is that the preparation and integration phases are where most people receive the least support and where the most important work actually happens. Root and Return exists because I wanted to make available to others what had been missing from my own early experiences with this medicine.

I bring to this work a PhD in Genetics and Neurodevelopment from Baylor College of Medicine alongside deep initiation into Earth-based wisdom traditions, including the Q'ero Andean shamanic lineage and the Venusian Temple Arts of the Rose Lineage. This combination of scientific grounding and embodied practice shapes everything in Root and Return.

If you are ready to begin, I would love to support you on this journey.
