Is This For Me?

This work is for those who can feel it is time to shift direction in life, even if they cannot yet see clearly where that leads. Perhaps you are in the middle of a significant life change, or simply moving toward one. You have done inner work before and are not in crisis. Now you are ready to go deeper, not just to understand the patterns that have been controlling how you experience reality, but to bring conscious awareness into the body where they live, allow deep transformation to occur, and begin living from a more grounded and present place.

What Makes Us Unique?

Every offering at Tree of Life Temple is rooted in the belief that the body is where real transformation happens. Plant medicine creates a state of openness that makes the unconscious patterns shaping your reality accessible in ways they normally are not. Somatic embodiment practices help you meet what arises with presence and awareness, so that real shifts can occur and begin expressing themselves in how you actually live. Every offering we hold, from ceremony to horse medicine to integration support, is rooted in cultivating a conscious collaborative relationship with the body and the Earth.

What Is My Next Step?

Every path into our work begins with a conversation. The consultation call is free, there is no commitment, and it is simply a chance for us to hear where you are, share what we offer, and feel together whether this is the right fit. If something here resonates, we would love to connect with you.

OUR APPROACH

We Don't Heal You. We Hold Space for You to Remember.

Every offering we provide is rooted in one truth: your body is the source of your reality in this lifetime. The medicine doesn't do all the work for you, and there's nothing wrong with you that needs to be fixed. You are on a journey of transformation, and whatever brought you here is simply your body and soul asking you to allow a big identity shift to occur. We don't approach this work as healers or rescuers. We create containers where Earth medicines and somatic practices help you witness what's been stored in your body with love and compassion. Through that witnessing, liberation happens naturally. We teach you to speak your body's native language, to trust its intelligence, and to collaborate with the Earth's wisdom. This isn't about escaping your life or chasing peak experiences. It's about coming home to yourself so fully that the life around you naturally begins to reorganize to reflect the truth of who you are.

Who These Offerings Serve

Who These Offerings Serve

Our work is for those who are mentally and financially stable, who have already done inner work, and who are ready for something deeper. You're not in crisis. Your life might even look good from the outside. But you know there's a truer version of yourself waiting to be lived, and you're willing to do the devotional work to get there. You understand that transformation requires radical responsibility, emotional maturity, and integration over time. You're ready to witness your shadow with compassion, not bypass it. And you feel a full-body yes when you read these words, a resonance that stays with you.

Is this work safe if I've never done plant medicine before?

Yes. Many participants come to us for their first plant medicine experience. Safety is held through multiple layers: thorough health screening beforehand, experienced guides, small group sizes (10 max), and the option to start with lower doses and gradually deepen. We also provide comprehensive preparation resources and stay with you throughout the entire journey. That said, plant medicine work requires physical and psychological readiness, which we assess during your consultation call.

What is church membership and why is it required?

What is church membership and why is it required?

Tree of Life Temple is a legally recognized 508c1A earth-centered spiritual organization. Membership provides religious freedom protection for your sacramental use of plant medicines in a ceremonial setting. When you become a member to sit in ceremony with us, you receive access to preparation and integration resources, bi-weekly integration calls, and one-on-one support. Membership is required for all group retreats and private ceremonies. We can discuss the details during your consultation call.

How is your approach different from other plant medicine retreats?

How is your approach different from other plant medicine retreats?

We weave deep somatic embodiment practices into all of our plant medicine work. Most other retreats focus solely on the psychoactive experience that the plants can induce. We believe the medicines open you and can facilitate great healing and realization, but somatic practices ground you and help you fully metabolize what arises. Without embodiment work, insights stay in your head instead of anchoring into your body and nervous system, and the root of deep patterns are not truly addressed. We also keep all groups to 10 participants maximum so you receive devoted, personalized attention. And we provide ongoing integration support, not just a one-time experience.

What's the difference between Solstice and Equinox retreats?

What's the difference between Solstice and Equinox retreats?

Solstice retreats (Summer and Winter) work with Bufo and Huachuma. You'll journey with Bufo multiple times over two days, and Huachuma once with deep somatic bodywork for heart-opening and trauma processing. Equinox retreats (Spring and Fall) work with Ayahuasca, Niños Santos (psilocybin mushrooms), and Bufo. Each offers a different energetic signature aligned with the changing of the seasons. We can help you discern which format aligns with your intentions during your consultation.

Do I need to be in good physical health to attend?

Do I need to be in good physical health to attend?

Certain medical conditions and medications are contraindicated with plant medicines. During your consultation call, we'll go through a thorough health screening to ensure the medicines are safe for you. We require you to complete a detailed health questionnaire before attending any retreat or ceremony. If you have concerns about specific health conditions, please mention them when you book your consultation so we can assess together.

What should I expect during and after ceremony?

What should I expect during and after ceremony?

Every journey is unique, but common experiences include visual and sensory shifts, emotional release, physical purging (especially with Ayahuasca), deep introspection, and profound spiritual connection. We hold you through all of it. After ceremony, expect to feel open, sensitive, and deeply connected. This is why we build in full integration days between each medicine journey and provide ongoing support after you leave. The real transformation often unfolds in the weeks and months following ceremony as you integrate the shifts into your daily life.

Can I attend if I'm currently in therapy or taking medication?

Can I attend if I'm currently in therapy or taking medication?

It depends on the medication. SSRIs, MAOIs, and certain other medications are contraindicated with plant medicines and must be discontinued (under medical supervision) well before ceremony. Being in therapy is not a barrier and can actually support your integration process. We'll discuss your specific situation during the consultation call and can give guidance for coordinating with your therapist if helpful.

What if I don't have a specific intention or know what I'm seeking?

What if I don't have a specific intention or know what I'm seeking?

That's completely normal. Many people feel a pull toward this work without being able to articulate exactly why. Your body knows even when your mind doesn't. During preparation, we'll help you clarify what's calling you. Sometimes the intention is simply "to listen to what my body has been trying to tell me" or "to witness what's ready to be seen."
